Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Cued Up account and the personal data associated with it. Deletion is irreversible. If you only want to take a break, sign out instead — your data stays put until you delete or we're required to remove it.

Option 1 — Delete in the web app

Deletion runs immediately — your sign-in is destroyed as soon as you confirm, not on a queue. Your profile, social posts, direct messages, friends and league entries are removed with it.

Games you played are not deleted, because they are also the record of the people you played against. Your name is replaced everywhere it appears in them, so the match survives and you do not. The same is true of leaderboards and league standings.

Option 2 — Email request

If you can't sign in or prefer to email us, send a deletion request to support@cuedupapp.com from the email address on your account. Include:

• The email address tied to the account
• Your username (if you remember it)
• Confirmation that you want the account permanently deleted

We process requests within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days of confirmation.

What gets deleted

• Profile (name, email, avatar, bio, motto, handles)
• Your sign-in, password and session — immediately and irreversibly
• Cue Rating, stats, achievements, trophy shelf
• Social posts, comments, direct messages, chat messages
• League and tournament entries you authored
• Friends, blocks, and notifications tied to your account
• Photos and video clips you uploaded
• Your check-in history and any tables you reserved

What we may retain

A small amount of data may remain after deletion when we're legally required to keep it or where removal would compromise records that don't belong to you:

• Match records — the games you played are also the record of the people you played against, so they are kept with your name replaced rather than deleted
• Transaction records — subscription and payment history retained for tax and accounting purposes (handled by Stripe)
• Aggregate stats — anonymized leaderboard and league records that affect other players' standings
• Abuse / safety records — reports filed against the account, retained for moderation

Everywhere a record is kept, your display name is overwritten rather than left in place, so what remains describes a match and not a person.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does cancel your active Cued Up subscriptions. Before your account is removed we cancel your player subscription and the subscriptions for any venue you own, so nothing keeps billing a card you can no longer reach.

You can still cancel yourself first from Settings → Subscription if you prefer. If a cancellation ever fails on Stripe's side, we record it and follow up — contact support@cuedupapp.com if you see a charge after deleting.
